12m/12p/12boy - Oct. 2010 In Progress - Brenda (Owlsrook)
October 2010 - In progress photo - Ruffled Garter Stitch Neck Warmer in CPY Mini Mochi Colour #114 - Blooming. Almost forgot to post a progress photo. This is now just about complete, and will be part of a set (neck warmer & headband or neck warmer & fingerless mitts, not sure which yet).
As always, love the look and feel of the Mini Mochi yarns.

I have had some troubles with my health. Sneezing and sniffing, a swollen eye that really was infected and red kept me away from the computer. One big headache... Did not do much in the knitting area though... besides starting this pair of socks with an awesome cable!

October Project Finished
Flower Baby Blanket
Flower Baby Blanket Finished
I just finished the Flower Baby Blanket. I used about 1225 yards of Wendy Velvet Touch doubled in a variegated pink and 136 yards of the same yarn in yellow for the center. The blanket is really yummy and cuddly. I know the mom and dad, who have 2 sons now, are going to love using this blanket for their new daughter.

Sept flew fast away
Dang another month gone. Seems like they begin then end in no time lapse at all.
A fun yarn to play with. Yarn is Cha Cha. Very interesting as you knit in the squares of a ribbon type yarn. Scarf used 2 skeins at 66 yards a skein. Below is the finished scarf. This was donated to be raffled off for a charity.
It is fall here so time to start of the Christmas clogs. I have completed 6 pairs so far. I have 8 more to make before Christmas.
Had to make some baby hats.
My new starts. Socks, a sunflower dishcloth, and another hat for our Grandchild. Hat is complete and has been given away already.
I hope October does not run away. But, being today is the 4th already I am guessing it will.
Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians among us.

October Project Progress
12/12/12boy-October progress
Hi, I am putting everything on hold to make dishcloth sets for a friend's craft fair. It is to raise money for the United Way. I am using tons of crochet cotton (peaches and cream and lion cotton and another one- forgot the name.) Here is a progress photo of the red and white. I also have solid green and a Christmas-y colors too. I don't have the yarnage but there are 5 small ones and 1 or 2 big ones. So, I will totally have enough yarnage for the month.
my new co's are talking to my though.................(((sad face)))

Socks
Today I finished the Staggered Rib Socks that I've been working on. I love them! I used 300 yards of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport Multi in Green alley on US 3 needles. The colors are very soft and yummy. I can't wait to wear them.
I also started a new pair of socks using Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Design Line Kaffe Fassett in striping pink/red/blue/green. I can't wait to see how these work up. I am just making a 2x2 ribbed leg and stockinette foot so that the yarn shows off.
