Coquille KAL -- Tracy Van Wormer

Coco Isle Shawl
--- in Taos #17--- Love the colors, love the feel. I ended up using #8 & #13 needles. (Thought it was a #9, but measured it in the end---to be sure). I ended up doing 3 small gussets, 5 med. gussets, 3 large gussets then 1 x-large gusset for mid line. Started decreases after that.....

Prime time May

The Designer Challenges group on Ravelry posted a challenge for the month of May. Baby, cables and ocean were the keywords.

I have been playing with baby yarn, just for my own fun, and came up with a wee cardigan and two hats. Baby set Atoll (Atoll: ring-shaped island in the ocean)came off the needles yesterday - the only thing left to do is type out the patterns in my notebook. 375 meters were used, as also 5 blue buttons.

Coquille KAL -- Tracy Van Wormer

Coco isle?? Will this work? I am using Taos, 3 balls to work with. Needles: #9 & #13. How big will it get??

(I gave away my other coquille -- to someone who really loved it. I loved it too....so I will have to
make another.)

KWTP - socks

Panda Silk - Knotty or Knice socks
Sock #1 is still missing! Photo shows socks #2 & #3. I now have yarn to finish #3, with enough left over to knit another pair (in another pattern). It's lucky that I love the yarn.

Moonchild again
My first pair shrunk in the wash. CPY replaced the yarn. It's time to replace the socks. Beads are 8/0 AB clear.

May - Finished Rodekool and Sunday Socks WIP

Finished my 1st May project - the Rodekool scarf in Caramel Latte and Brandied Apricots - used about 230 yards together - still not sure how you can get one of these scarves out of just one ball of Mini Mochi! Also, started socks for my Mother - better late than never - as a present for Mother's Day. I already finished the Coquille scarf for her, but she really wants another pair of socks. Making up the Sunday Swing Socks from Knitty Summer 2009. So quick! I started these yesterday early afternoon and finished one already. So here are some pictures!

Completed May Project

I finally finished and blocked the baby afghan I've been working on. It is the Estonian Lullaby pattern, and it took approximately 800 yards of Plymouth Encore yarn. I love the way it turned out.
