2011 PrimeTime August

Ta-dah! These are my socks for August. I really like the pattern and will more than likely make it again, but this time for me.

The pattern and the yarn combined are very stretchy but came out nicely.

The yarn is Panda Cotton, color "Trail Mix".

The pattern is "Muir Woods (California)" from "50 Socks, 50 States".

Needles: size 2's.

These will be a nice Christmas present for my sister and she will absolutely love the colors.

August socks

A toe-up pair for me this time. Gorgeous yarn to work with - Tausendschön in the colourway Valentin, that I swapped with Angeli (Sokkenmuis). Different panel for front and back foot - fun to do! 325 meters are used.

Fair time

Finished my August prime time shawl. In the Storm clouds. It's soaking right now. Then I will block it along with some other things for the county fair which starts this Saturday. The pattern is In the Pink. Used less than 4 balls of Mini Mochi, color storm clouds. About 694 yds.
