How many colors does the sock take? Where are the hints for low yardage yarns? I want to use crystal Palace, but have larger feet than the pattern is written for.
hi lorraine;
the socks are knit in one color. i made the medium in a size 8 (9 3/4" foot) and still had plenty of yarn leftover. i can weigh my finished socks. i am guessing that you will need a third skein if you are knitting the large based on how much yarn i have left-over.
i made mention of cpy and other low yardage yarns in the notes on the first page.
