I joined the Selfish Knitters group on Ravelry after having a gift scarf be rejected and belittled. Long story but the scarf has been returned and gifted to a knitting friend who absolutely enjoys it now.The November KAL for the group is a "viral" KAL. Only patterns with more than 5000 projects queued qualify. I have seen the beautiful Noro striped scarfs before and have always wanted to make myself one. The yarn is not cheap but does feel lovely already knitted up. Not so keen on the hidden green tucked inside those midnight blue/black cakes but I still think it will come out well in the end.
