I cut it a little closer than I'd intended to, but I did manage to start and finish a project in January:Lighthouse Gansey Socks (Anne Hanson) in Briggs & Little Durasport 'Smoke,' 2.25mm dpns.
They weren't the most interesting socks I've ever knit, but I'm really happy with how they turned out.

I guess they weren't that bad - at least I had the charts at the top of the legs to keep me interested. It was a lot of 3x1 ribbing with yarn that wanted to twist back on itself (and therefore needed to be watched and untangled), so it seemed to take forever.
that ribbing will do you in every time. did i tell you bil's socks are ribbed?! BOR-ing!!!!
