Started sometime in November, finished 12/9/11. Based on Pattern: Shark Hat
Used (Mostly) Lion Brand Tweed, 124 grams, 210 yards. Small amount of Pattons wool in pinky/red color, and white fingering yarn for the eyes & teeth. I did the teeth a bit differently -- as a picot edging that was stitched in between the upper lip and mouth. Eyes are little ball buttons surrounded by I cord. My rav page: We're going to need a bigger boat....

FABULOUS! Hope he enjoys it for many years. You did a terrific job. :)
If he doesn't...I am making it into a pillow or tea cozy....ok....a really big tea cozy!!! Or I could felt it and use it as a potholder! Hopefully, he will just like it!
I think he will get so many wonderful comments when he wears it that it will become even more special to him. That's what happened with the croc scarf for Fred. The other men knew someone sure did love him to put all that work into it. He wore it a lot in the winter. I'm betting the same will happen with the shark hat and others wished someone loved them that much. :) Don't felt it too soon...give it time to happen. Trust me.
that is hilarious.
you are being a major over-achiever here, ya know! LOL!
