final 2010 12/12/12

I was sweating it out about 10 last night, but I got 'er done. Yippee!

This is a compilation of about 3 different patterns made out of something silk from Tess' Designer's Yarn. It's the last of my Stitches Midwest haul.

Yeah, I didn't think my face was going to be in there. Yes, I've cropped it. Nope, I cannot find it! -chuckles- It's nice to know the more things change, the more they stay the same!

Did I make it under the wire?

Wow. I can't believe it's already November. October was full of classes, swim meets and illness. I have no idea if we are passing around a nasty cold or some sort of the flu, but I hope it gets out of the house for GOOD!!! I lost a good two weeks with that last round. It's been a long time since I felt that badly. That being said, I hope you all are doing well. Here's my October project. Felted boots #2. This pair is for the same daughter. She talked me out of the yarn for my pair. Little snot! I must really love her or somehting!

Again, I used about 700 yards of elann yarn doubled and about 30 yards of single ply wool and the novelty yarn held together. Guess what's on the needles for November? Another pair of felted slipper boots for her teammate. Yep, go ahead and write sucker, gullible or whatever else you'd like on my forehead. I deserve it!

*Whew* Finished with a couple of days to spare.

My July entry is done, using 8.5 balls of Elann's Sonata. It's a bit over 100 yds per ball. Yes, I'm the queen of estimation. Either way IT IS DONE! Yay! Just in time for our impromptu informal family reunion. Guess what I'll be sporting?!? I don't know if I'm going to get an entry done for dog days, BUT I still have about a week, so who knows?!?! (Never mind that I have a whole new big goal to be done in time for Stitches Midwest.....)

Zaniness!

I'm leaving for out of town this afternoon. Here's the progress pic on the skirt I hope to have done by the end of the month. Adrienne, is it okay if I email the picture from my phone if I do get it done? I KNOW my parent's computer doesn't have bluetooth capabilities (it's a DINOSAUR) and I don't have the cord to go from phone to computer? If not, then the competition for the 12/12/12 has just gotten one easier! *grin*

It's been another crazy month in Kadezmomland. Here's two scarves I've made this month. The striped one has 254 yards and the second is 270, totalling 534 yards of yarn...I love seeing everyone's fo's, even when I don't have time to comment! :D
