June Progress

So far this summer my focus has been has been participating in the farmer's market. I have doing o.k. for a small town market.

This month I have been making socks, because I have been most successful items.

First I crocheted these pineapple tube socks. I still had plenty of cotton fingering yarn I bought over 10 years ago, so I used it in these socks.

Next I knitted these socks using snowflake wool yarn:

Finally I am currently crocheting these socks:

May Completed

I originality posted that I was going to do a ruffle scarf for May. I realized that I am not going to finish the scarf in time. I have been busy making other stuff for the farmer's market. So I decided to do stuff I am making for the market, this month I decided on two pairs of crocheted socks and a doll. These did make the yardage I needed to completed, about 500 - 600 yards. So here are the progress photos:

May Started

It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do this month, but I finally settled on making a ruffled scarf. I hope to get it finished this month, I also doing other projects for the farmer's market I am involved in this summer.

April Done

Here are are the finished dishcloths for this months KAL. I used I Love This Cotton to make these dishcloths and used about 400 yards. This is mainly for the the farmer's market that is going on this summer. It starts this Saturday and goes on through summer.

Updates on April Projects

Here are a couple more dishcloths I have been making for the farmers market. After making these, I decided to stay with my original plan to mostly make the windmill dishcloth.

Though I am not going to include these in the April KAL, I have also make a crocheted version of the knitted windmill dishcloth:

April Started

This month's project is about getting ready to sell items at the farmer's market in May. So I am making a bunch of dishcloths.


So I finished this first dishcloth. Someone else had done this windmill pattern in this group and I wanted to try it. It looks cool, but I am not crazy about the sewn seam in this dishcloth. I might look for another pattern to do.

March Project Completed

I finally completed my project for March. The pattern is the domino socks out of the Vogue Knitting Socks Two book. I put up the labels of the yarn I used. The total yards is 257. I am happy that these socks fit perfectly.
