December Project

After the dismal failure of my Holiday (or Not!) project, I knit a pair of socks for the husband.


Started: 12-9-11
Finished: 12-13-11
Yarn: Zauberball Starke 6ply Herbstsonne (Autumn Suns)
Pattern: 72st vanilla socks
Needles: 2.5mm

I did get through half of the squares of the blanket for the Holiday (or Not!) KAL but I will have to use it for next year's KAL instead!  Hopefully it will be finished before the end of winter. :)

November Project

Since I have what seems like 100 other projects going, I knit yet another pair of socks! :D

October Progress

First up is the Prime Time KAL project: Halloween socks from Woolgirl's Halloween Kit.

Finished: 10-9-11
Patterm: Ghoulish Rhapsody by Christina Wilkins
Yarn: Dashing Dachs Dach Sox Fingering in Treat
Needles: 2.75mm for leg, 2.5mm for foot

Then I have more squares finished for my Holiday KAL project.
Sausalito in Tonga

and Half Moon Bay

Pictures were taken with the flash and are a little washed out but the colors are very close.  So now I have 24 of approximately 180 squares.

July Project finished

Yet another pair of socks down! Sorry, Adrienne, I just couldn't bring myself to match the stripes. :(

Yarn: Three Ewes Twisted in Fiber Blue Ewe in Harmony
Needles: 2.5mm
Mods: Top down rather than toe up, flap and gusset heel rather than short row and cuffs are 8" long

aka more sucking up to Adrienne! :D I really love how this pattern works with the wide stripes.

Yarn: Three Ewes Twisted in Fiber Cashewe in Sock Monkey
Needles: 2.75mm cuff/2.5mm foot
Mods: Added an extra pattern repeat to cuff and used 3 garter sts on each side of heel flap
