September Prime Time Bags

September ZIPPED by. A puppy joined the family, and there was little knitting. But I did manage to squeak out 300 yards in a trio of bags: An oddball project bag, a Droid case, and a felted protective holder for Marc's laser sighter :

June Burnt Toast Primetime

I finished a lot of little things in June, but this is my biggie: a honeycomb brioche .. um shawlie? Mega-kerchief? Pointy scarf? It's quite long enough, and I really like the dimensions, I'm just really not sure what to call it (this is why I do not publish my designs). Whatever it's called, it makes me think of burnt toast.

It's over 300 yards of cashmere and cotton, dyed in my oven (that big brown thing on the couch is the dyed blank). I loved working on this.

January PrimeTime braids

Hooray, I got pics up in time!

I had a bit of a thing for braids this month. I started and finished the hat entirely on the planes and trains between Stuttgart and San Francisco, and did most of the mittens on the journey back to Stuttgart. We left for Denmark a few days later ... finished the mittens, and waited for some prime internet time. (Yup, those are airline seats in the WIP photos).

I finally saw and touched some Kauni. I can't see what all the fuss is about. It's awfully scratchy. The colors are nice, though.
