Entering the homestretch!!

We only have a a week or so to go and I am not sure whether I am going to be able to finish the last project on the needles in time!
Since my last post I have finished my son's Opal Prisma socks

The project that I am not sure that I am going to finish is a 48x60" blanket for a friend's Christmas gift!

This is the Soft Cables Afghan by Kirsten Hipsky in dark gray Encore. I started it Nov 18th but am only on ball 4 of 11. I guess if I can knit 1 ball a day I might make it by the deadline!

Now I have some fingerless mitts that I need to finish so I can take a final picture! I flew through the first one and forgot to take an in progress pic til I got to the thumb.


I will finish these up today then I have a pair of socks for my son on the needles!

Holiday project 2 done, #3 started!

I finished the husband's blue striped socks

and started on another pair for him with some Fiesta Boomerang in Cinnamon.

One down and the next one started!

I finished my Indigo Moon Hourglass Socks! They are gorgeous and worth the cussing to get the sizing right.

Now I have the second project on the needles. Blue socks for the husband:

Black Bunny Fibers Cashsock in Midnight and Smudge. Very soft and feely!

Holiday (or not) KAL 1st project!

After some ripping and cursing, here is the progress on my Hourglass Socks from a few days ago:


The yarn is Indigo Moon Superwash Merino in Madder Red. The red is much deeper than the picture shows!
