Holiday KAL

So I finished the Striped Hat for my neice. It looks pretty good on my 1 yr old! I also finished (finally)my Feb Lady Sweater. It's blocking (my first attempt at blocking something) downstairs then I will sew the buttons on. I'll post it on ravelry soon.

I am still working on the Spidey mittens. They aren't as "fun" as they started out, so they are stalled. (Plus I got distracted by making a baby gift, coffee cup cozies for bookclub, and a tiny Turkey KAL from Susan Anderson)

Gotta keep knitting.. more projects to finish.

Holiday KAL 1 down...

I finished one from my KAL list. (From bottom picture up) I finished my Fetching mittens in Louet Riverstone Bulky. Then I made another pair in Merisoft hand-painted. Not sure which I love more. Also made a Scarf and Hat for my sister. It's the Banana Republic Knock-off hat and a Chunky Cabled Scarf to match. (Both in Wool-Ease Thick and Quick)

Holiday KAL Update

I am about 50% finished 2 projects so I thought I better post some WIP pics.

The first is the "We call him Spidey Mittens" for my son in Wool-Ease worsted to get them big enough for a 7 yr old.

The second is "Fetching" mittens in Louet Riverstone Bulky. I may have to frog the top after the second one if I have enough yarn to make them a little longer. I'm trying to only use 1 skein.
