KWTP Rainbow Coast hitchhiker finished

Lots of details about this project on my Rav page. After using 3.5 skeins of Intense Rainbow for this shawlette sized scarf, I'm still in love with this yarn. I have worn this a few times and feel it is a big success. :)

kwtp Sakaki finished here and blocking :)

I don't like the blocking wires and also prefer a curvier shawl shape, so pinned, patted, measured, etc until I liked the way it looked. I had 3 balls of mini mochi in the Tapestry colorway and had 62 gms left. I'm hoping to make a hat for my friend's birthday in early June and also add another kwtp project using the leftovers. :) She was here for Easter and thought the yarn was gorgeous. (It is). I never tire of knitting with this yarn. Inside top measurement tip to tip is 54" and the center back is 11".

kwtp update at 50% of Sakaki

The color of Tapestry Rainbow mini mochi is much prettier than my camera shows in this light during a rainstorm here. This is at the 50% point and fortunately I had put in a lifeline to show Debbie (Ding of the Bell sisters) how close it is to using up the first skein. I have 1 gm left from the middle of the middle section.

So glad I put in the lifeline because at the end of the next repeat, I realized my stitch count was off. Errrrrrghhh, but the lifeline saved the day. I am tempted to get back to my Intensive Rainbow mini mochi coquille after seeing Tracy's, but think I need to get this one back on track. I love using this yarn and never tire of the colors surprising me. They aren't in any particular order and I like the random aspect of it. That also lets me fiddle if I need to in splicing colors to emphasize the ones that are my favorite. Any guesses? LOL

kwtp mini mochi Sakaki

Romi Hill's new pattern for Japanese earthquake relief. I will omit the leaves in the back for this one using Tapestry Rainbow colorway #105. I am still entertained with the color changes in mini mochi. I'm also knitting Coquille in mini mochi Intense Rainbow. :) I live on the Rainbow Coast as our area is known and see rainbows almost daily.

kwtp "Pick Your Wrap"

Pattern is from our own Debi! Lovely scarf and/or shawl. I'll be doing the scarf version using mini mochi. It is April 1st here (actually late afternoon as I submit this) and I will begin it tomorrow when it is the 1st for the rest of you. :) I'm also doing the Coquille shawl and working on another shawl which will be a future prime time entry. Guess I'm back on my shawl kick again. :)
