The beginning of bag #1
Three bags ready to felt
Small one is for gift cards
These all still need to be felted and the larger bags still need handles as well, and maybe a handle on the small one too, not sure yet. I will also need to find buttons for them too. Minor details, right?
I have never made an I cord before and I need to find out if you attach it to the bag before felting or after.
I made all three of these bags with one skein of Patons Classic Wool Merino in the color Rosewood. The skein is 223 yards and I hope to have enough left to make the handles as well. I do have another skein in case I run out though.
I started these bags yesterday afternoon, so they are a fast knit. I really like them. The pattern is called Teeny Tiny Felted Tote. I adjusted the pattern by cutting the directions in half to make the card holder.
While I am waiting to learn how to make the I-cord I think I'll work on a scarf for the special Olympics. I saw a couple patterns on Ravelry today I thought I'd like to try.
I'll post the finished pictures of these bags when I finally get them felted and blocked.
I am loving this group... I am getting a lot of Christmas knitting done.

I like to attach the i -cord before felting so it kinda becomes part of the bag. I think it gives the join more strength.
That little gift card cozy is such a cute idea!
Cute little bags! How did you make out with the i-cord?
Cute Bags! I like to attach the I cord before as well but I have done it both ways and they both work well.
