oh! they are suppose to be two of the same thing and they're suppose to match! dang! maybe you all will take pity on me as i knit these as samples and i knit so slowly that this may be the last you will see from me. besides, there is not enough yarn left to knit a second of either thing... SOB!can you believe that they each used 22 grams of yarn? or 171 yards should this count...please?!
leave a comment on whether you think this should count for kal entries or not. who knows what we might use to draw a winner for another prize...hint! hint! time is drawing near!!!!!!

I keep track of the books so NO. You will only have a start not a finish. You will cheat to get your way won't you.

I think they should count, too!! For two reasons: because they're beautiful, and there are, after all, more than one of them; and because that way I can count the two individual socks that I just finished test-knitting for two separate patterns (right?). ;)
Well, if you gave the toddler sock to a child as a sock to wear over a cast, it would be considered a finished project, and the wrister was for someone who only needs one, then it, too, would be considered a finished project, wouldn't it? Even easier, unless the company wants only a full pair of each for samples, then if one is good enough for them, it should be good enough for us! In other words, yes!
I think the fingerless mittens are beautiful, and so are the socks.
I'm not going to judge weather they will count or not...that is for the judges to decide.

I think they should count! The rules say you can submit a "set of items" and this is your set of items... test knits that only require one each!! Plus, as others have stated - they're beautiful! Nice work!

Yes, they should count. When I have to wear a wrist support, I wear the beautiful wrister that I made just for that! It took all of 180 yards, too.
By the way, is that wrister pattern available? I haven't read down the page yet.
wrister pattern will be available when mini mochi is officially released. right now, the pattern is in my head...and debi says that is a dangerous place to be. grin
I vote to count them too. I really like how this yarn works up.
I think it should count if any other questionable entries would count. I mean why not let everyone get a second chance. Especially since there are so many fast knitters mixed in with us slow froggers. And Day of the Dead contestants who are too slow to finish a pair of socks and have made 4 1/3 pairs total!
