Christmas Snowflake started December 11, completed December 16, hook - 7, steel, Boye USA, size 10 crochet cotton. I've wanted to crochet this pattern for a long time and finally got the courage to make it. I wasn't that hard after all.

socks and lace in december
Basic toe up socks with short-row heel, started December 16, completed December 31 just before midnight. Cascade Yarns Sassy Stripes, US 1 - 2.25 mm, used just under 1 skein = about 210yds. About 8 yds left over. Sized for 11 yr old girl.
Alpha stockings, started December 1, completed December 31 in the afternoon. Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash, US 3 - 3.25 mm, used about 268 yards. Changed stitch count to work with worsted wt yarn.

Actually the brown is closer to the real color. It's color #862.
