I finally finished these. Started Oct. 1 and finished Nov. 23. These are a Ram Club selection from earlier this year. The yarn is Verve from the Unique Sheep, in colors Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice. The pattern is Alp Hikers by Charles Voth.
The Trailing Vines Mitts are finished and the pattern is available on Ravelry. It will be available on Patternfish soon. Yarn is Regia 6-ply, 3.0 mm needles. About 150 yards used.
Actually, I'll have 2 projects, which will add up to enough yardage to count. First there are the fingerless mitts. The yarn is Regia 6-ply on 3.0 mm needles. I have designed these and the pattern will be available on Ravelry and Patternfish.
These socks didn't fit DH. They were a little tight and too short. Fair Isle is hard to frog. I ended back at the toe and went up one size. Progress has been good. I'm almost at the gusset with the new width and the socks will be 1" longer. Some yarns and patterns have more stretch than others.
Nothing on my needles but socks.
After 2 little projects with small yardage, I've finally finished a pair of socks with enough yardage to count for the month. I used Hazel Knits Artisan Sick in Chocolatier for most of the socks and finished up with Pinguoin Fine + for the toes. The pattern is from the Ram Club, a sock club for men. Designed by Janine Le Cras, it's called Train to Brighton. I didn't use the sock club yarn, which had even shorter yardage.
The baby kimono is finished. I still don't have enough yardage to count for the month. The pattern is from Mason-Dixon Knitting. The yarn is dishcloth cotton left from my jacket with the lace edges.
when I finish it and show photos. The pattern is a Ram club selection from last year, by Janine Le Cras. The yarn is Hazel Knits Artisan sock, and with 400 yds, it still didn't cover DH's legs and feet.

intermittent work. The body is three color seed stitch and the edges are a garter stitch lace. The prize yarn is Panda Cotton in grapes & blueberries color. Thank you so much for the yarn. I'll have to stop collecting CPY yarn and start knitting with it.
I finished one small thing, so small there is no in progress photo. I'll show it again with something else, so it will count then. The basic pattern is Ann Norling's Fruit Hat pattern, with a flower from Nicky Epstien's Embellishment book. Yardage is under 100 yds in worsted weight yarn.
The Ravelry SKA Mystery sock by Adrianne Fong. Is at sock #1, Clue #1. I plan to keep these.
The pattern really pops.
I finished two scarves. The green one was started in January and saved for times when I needed easy knitting. A shop hop trip with my guild provided the time for finishing. The yarn is Noro Matsuri.
I also finished my Swiss Cheese scarf. This was a guild KAL, using a rayon blend cone yarn that I bought a long time ago because it was pretty.
even colder weather, she has something else to wear.
will be joining the family in September. He will get a new hat, since he can wear the sweater I knit for his sister. It looks like a tomato. The patter is Ann Norling's Fruit Hat pattern.
feet of these are stranded. Last night someone counted up how many patterns there are on the socks (6). The woman is crazy, but I think we suspected as much.
I finished my August SKA challenge by Chrissy Gardiner. The main color (grey) is Plymouth Yarn's happy feet solids. CC 1 at the toe is Brown Sheep Wildfoote, CC 2 is Trekking, CC3 is Lorna's laces Shepherd sock, CC4 is Dream in Color Starry.
Ravelry SKA Mystery sock
My Ravelry SKA Mystery sock has clue #3 finished. The pattern is by Chrissy Gardiner.
This is my version of the Ravelry SKA Mystery Sock by Chrissy Gardiner. The photo was taken on the hood of my car, explaining the reflections.
I seem to have missed blogging about these socks. They meet the Ravelry SKA June challenge of vintage socks. I started with a 1944 man's pattern and down sized them.I used less ribbing and more repeats of the cable on the leg. My leg is 7 1/2", not 11". The heel and toe are interesting, no ssk decreases. The gusset does nave a skp decrease, which gives the same left slant. The cable was written out. I charted it to see how many rows before the next crossing.
