Holiday KAL - Brenda (Owlsrook)

Here are both my in progress and completed photos of a pair of Garter Ribb Fingerless Mittens I finished. These are knit in Sock It To Me sock yarn from Elann. I used 2.25MM needles and 56 stitches for these, they fit a Ladies, Medium
hand.

I also made another Deer Hat - photos of it are on my Ravelry Project page, Owlsrook. (as before, I won't post photos on this site due to the subject matter).
I have made two of these Hats this month with another one to do, then all my requests for Hats are done for this particular pattern at the moment.

I have 8 more sets of fingerless mittens to make for various people who have requested them, so that should keep me busy for until it's time to work on my December KAL.

Here are both the in progress picture and the completed project picture of a Cabled Headband I did up for a quick stocking stuffer gift. Took me a couple of hours to night tonight while watching TV. Did this out of some stash Worsted Weight yarn
I had.

I have completed a couple of projects that can't be shown, (Test knitting) and another "Naughty Deer" Hat for a friend who wanted one for her husband for Christmas.
(won't post that photo in polite company), but those on ravelry will know which pattern it is.

I was working on my Lagoon Pond scarf (previously posted in progress photo), but last night decided I didn't like the yarn with that pattern so I frogged the entire thing, and will use a different pattern for the yarn. I will do the Lagoon Pond scarf again but in a plain colour so that it shows off better.

So that's it for me so far, now back to finishing my November KAl sock.

I really enjoyed knitting these, they are quick and easy, and the fit is really nice.
These are a gift for a co-worker. Great for that one ball of sock yarn you don't know what to make with.

Easy Lace Handwarmers - In progress photo. With luck, these will be finished tonight. Sorry I have no idea what yarn this is, (lost the yarn band), this is from my stash of unknowns. I am however using 56 stitches on size 2.25mm needle, using magic loop. These are really quick to knit and look pretty on.

I am still working on my Lagoon Pond scarf (I posted progress photo earlier) and that should be finished soon as well. (Another stash yarn knit)

I just got a wonderful Anniversary present from my Husband - a Kromski Polonaise Spinning Wheel, which I am in the process of setting up, so have been making space in the knitting room to start a new stash of spinning fibres. (Now that will be an exciting stash to build on). I may have to expand the house. I am trying to convince him that a sheep, an alpaca, a Lhama and a few English Angora Rabbits would be lovely pets for the back yard, but so far he seem unconvinced.

I have started my November project for the 52 week Kal - Spring forward socks, so can post progress photos of those tomorrow. So much yarn, so little time.

Holiday Kal - In Progress Photo - Lagoon Pond Scarf in Bernat Jr. Jaquard, (stash busting). This will be a Keyhole design which is why you see a narrow section in the scarf. I bought several balls of this yarn in various colourways some time ago as I was knitting things for some little people, so decided to use some up in scarves for give aways. I think I'll do some mittens to go with this & maybe a hat.
