i will be bad and will not tell you who won the welcome prize drawing yet. as much as laura and i love yarn, we decided to withdraw ourselves from this drawing (and i really wanted to win too).

i am old-fashion. in my mind, the only way things are randomly drawn is to write all the names on slips of paper, fold them all evenly, put them all in some kind of container, shake well, and have someone draw a name.

(being mindful of the environment, i am reusing paper!)

i waited for an impartial person to come home from work. let him relax and eat dinner. then asked him to draw a name from the bottle.
