2 new socks started= 3 singles now
I am knitting another pair of Kala's Sweetie Pie socks as well as Brenda's Winter Frost pattern to help my friend, Jonna with her sock knitting. She is fantastic with bobbin lace and helps me a lot. I now bring some socks in progress to the lace class for our coffee break/quick lesson. She's doing great and my long range goal is for her to knit a pair of Adrienne's Round Robyn's House soon. I dyed some cream Patonyle for these socks and I'm happy to say that Jonna wants to learn how to dye yarn for about 4 or 5 more pairs of socks. Lovely to have a partner in this obsession with knitting socks as well as be in a group with the designers of these lovely patterns.

Isn't it fun to watch someone else learn the pleasures of knitting, I'm sure your friend appreciates your help.
Your yarn colors in the photos are really nice, and show off both patterns well. Look forward to seeing the finished pairs of socks.
I am off to a slow start this month, due to other things going on. Hope to play with my knitting this weekend.
I haven't knit Adrienne or Kala's patterns yet, so will have to had those to my "to do list".
Thanks, Brenda. I really like way your pattern's clear directions and the pattern itself is interesting, but not too hard to knit at my level. My first pair of socks was a year ago and it is amazing I can help my friend since I'm just a few steps ahead of her. As you can see, I didn't use the beads (didn't have any), but think it has a nice look even without them. I will definitely knit this pattern again. :) Hope you get a chance to have some relaxing knitting this weekend.
