April Mystery Fingerless Gloves, and socks

I finally managed to upload some photos to Ravelry...

This pair was finished today (all that was needed to do was weave in the ends...), used yarn is Crystal Palace Yarns Panda Soy Bluebell, combined with Knit Picks Palette Navy. 1/2 ball each were needed to create this pair.

Also finished in April:

They look small on the photo, but these socks are having a foot length of 7 inch. Quite something, and they match the feet of our youngest perfectly. Also a wonderful way to work up left over bits and pieces.Together with the fingerless gloves, I meet the required amount of yarn - 330 meters were used in total.

Socks were made out of left over bits of KnitPicks Navy, Crystal Palace Bluebell, and as main colour I used 1 ball Neveda Socky/Pulli in red.

KWTP #2 - w/ my new all about me winnings

I loved the cotton twirl! I don't usually choose green but I loved the way variations in color and the final product.
The pattern was Tropical Lily . . . and it might be the first wearable the little darling thinks she might wear again after the initial modelling as its not "scratchy" hahaha
(I was worried the length was going to be short and added the purple band in some leftover cotton I had. . .which was good as I only had a tiny leftover ball of the cotton twirl)

KWTP - Tadpoles

Here is my project using Crystal Palace Maizy yarn, in the Spring Time colorway. Also appropriate for the season, I chose the pattern, Tadpoles which I downloaded off Ravelry.

Colors in the picture of completed socks are much more accurate.

2011 Prime Time! April project

Test knit this shawl for Corinne Fourcade, and the name of the pattern is 'Cretaceous'.

Yarn: KnitPicks Chroma Fingering, 129 grams/510 yards
Needles: 3.25mm

A personal observation regarding this yarn: the thickness of the yarn ranges from ultra thin laceweight to worsted, sticks to itself like Velcro, and it is miserable to tink back rows. However, the results are pretty in this shawl!
