More September Progress

The baby kimono is finished. I still don't have enough yardage to count for the month. The pattern is from Mason-Dixon Knitting. The yarn is dishcloth cotton left from my jacket with the lace edges.

The brown socks are almost finished. The toes will be beige. At least both will start the beige at about the same place. That project will count for the month when I finish it and show photos. The pattern is a Ram club selection from last year, by Janine Le Cras. The yarn is Hazel Knits Artisan sock, and with 400 yds, it still didn't cover DH's legs and feet.

Then there is the Mystery Sock from the SKA group, designed by Adrienne Fong. We have 3 clues so far and I'm knitting from a 100 gm ball, so I'm only using one end of the ball.

In a moment of craziness, I started another SKA sock. The theme this month is black and/or white. My black socks will go to a granddaughter for her birthday. The second sock is about 1/2 way down the leg, but it is at work, where the light is better. The yarn is Bernat Sox, an acrylic sock yarn. The pattern is Simplicity by Janel Laidman.

The gray sweater grows slowly. I haven't worked on it much. I'll show another picture when I get to the armpits.

Yarn arrived in the mail this week, a prize from the Dog Days thread. I finished a sweater which I may not have showed on this thread. It took about a year of intermittent work. The body is three color seed stitch and the edges are a garter stitch lace. The prize yarn is Panda Cotton in grapes & blueberries color. Thank you so much for the yarn. I'll have to stop collecting CPY yarn and start knitting with it.

Your Adrienne's mystery sock is gorgeous! I like your black one, too. "Good on 'ya" as they say here down under. :)
