Our friend, Chris, has been helping Fred make me shelves to store lots of yarn so I decided to thank him with another pair of socks. I love making this pattern in DK wt. Fast, easy, yet interesting and when Fred tried them on, he asked for a pair right away. I know I'll make many more using this free pattern from Sarah Wolf on ravelry. It is definitely a winner. I weighed the finished pair: 130 gms of Bendigo Luxury 8 ply with 3 full leg pattern repeats. I'll use 4 repeats for Fred since he likes the leg a bit longer.
I'm thinking of knitting it using 64 sts with fingering wt for me (after a few wips that need finishing).
