carefree kal 2011

i am totally on a roll here today! LOL!

i cannot believe that the year is almost over. we need to start thinking about whether to continue our year long kal challenge or not. who is interested? would you like to continue our current format or would you like to move this all over to ravelry?

would you like more mini kals like our ufo or holiday kal? mystery kals?

tell us what you want.

not a member yet? just email me at carefreekal at gmail dot com and i will get an invite to join the blog out to you.

eta: we would love more participation here! so, invite a friend to join and if your friend does, both your names will be entered into a drawing for some cpy yarn. make sure your friend tells us you sent her/him. or if you aren't already a blog member, join now and your name will be entered.

I enjoyed the CPY KALs on Rav - but would love to participate over here on the blog too. These are fun patterns and a great group!

I have enjoyed the annual KALS, and the Mini Kals that take place as well, but would be willing to participate in whichever format the majority enjoys.

I would be happy with whatever makes it easier for the Moderators and generates the most participants.

I love this group and will be happy to be where it is easiest for you to keep us going. I look forward to our sharing for years to come (I hope!).

Many thanks to all of you who have made it possible and your generosity in time and prizes.

Hoping the holiday season and new year brings you lots of knitting time and good health to enjoy it.

Hugs from way down under-

I like both ways (and like how small this is here.) But whatever you decide to do is fine with me.

Mostly I love you all because you taught me how to do knit socks. Remember when I couldn't get one done in a month?
I just love you guys where ever we go. Whatever is easiest for you, really!

Keep it on the blog if possible - there are more options to see the items people make than on Ravelry! I am in for next year!

It sure helps me push myself to finish projects. I'd love to remain a part of the group and whatever you decide (projects wise)is fine with me. I think the Carefree blog is a little easier to post on as far as pictures.

PS....wanted to add this is a great group - full of wonderful ideas.

For those of you that keep us going, do whatever is easiest for you.

By the way, love the idea of the Mystery KAL

I am in for the next year long KAL(which reminds me, I need to post my Dec project)! You know if you do a mystery KAL I am there too.

I also agree with everyone else: the best format is which ever makes it the easiest for the moderators. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the great mods so we want to keep you all happy!

The Mystery Sock KAL is what drew me to this site. I can hardly believe I stuck in the 12 months KAL, but I did. It definitly pushes me to finish larger projects which is always a good thing and I like to see the variety on the blog. I'm game for whatever works best for you guys though!

I definitely want to participate more next year. I taught 5 of my co-workers to knit this year so maybe I can convince some of them to join!

Love the mystery KALs!!!

I find it easier to post on Ravelry because Blogger can be difficult sometimes, but I agree - whatever is easiest for the moderators! And I also like the size of this group.

Looking forward to 2011!!!

Knit on!

My preference is Ravelry, because the group can be larger there. I'll participate either way. Deadlines motivate me!

I'm new to the group. I'm not really sure what's going on here but I'm willing to try the KALs. It sounds like fun!

I like the mini KALS. I like it on the blog ... it seems a little cozier. But I like Ravelry too (much). I don't think I'm building anything next year, so I expect more knitting time.
