April Prime Time entry: Joyette

This was such a pleasure to make that I will make another one in DK wt yarn soon. It looks much more complicated than it is. Easy, enjoyable knit that produces a lovely shawl in several options for sizing. I have many more details on my Ravelry Peacockmom project page. Bellsisters Design is clearly written and resulted in my first successful crocheted edging. I can just see this in cream for a bride. :) My next will be in some shade of aqua or teal. What a surprise...

Congrats Tunie!! That came out SO beautifully!!! You look like a seasoned crocheter too!! Can't wait to see your next one in DK weight - any hints on colors?

Anything in the blue-greens is always a safe guess with me. :)

Thanks for the compliments about the crocheting which worked due to the good directions and help from Annie in Montana, too. That was the only tricky bit since I have not done any at all for about 15 years or more and only then following a pattern no more than 2 lines long.

Great pattern with excellent directions sure can make a big difference between success and a near miss. :)
