Here are my socks for the mountain winner category: They are striped throughout, knit toe-up and I did not succeed in embroidering a bike on the bigger red stripe. I tried several but was not satisfied with the results. No nerves left to try it again. As they are for me there might be another attempt one day.

clever idea!!!!! I can't imagine trying to embroider a bike! Maybe the farmers who design them with hay rolls can help....
Fabulous socks! I think I need to make some like these for Fred only with a wide royal blue section and put white stars on it. Maybe in time for the next air show. :)
