Gift socks for Chris finished

Thuja (free on rav) using Bendigo Mills 8 ply luxury. I really enjoyed using this yarn. I weighed the finished socks and got 120 gms so figure it took about 262 yds for this pair.
This is a great pattern for a gift. DK wt yarn certainly makes a difference in completion time. I have enough left to make another pair. Might switch the blue and red bits. The only change I made was to do the top ribbing for 1 1/2" and knit leg total of 8" until the heel flap started.

The UK flag is part of the Aussie flag and I folded it to show in honor of Chris. Of course, I enjoyed knitting in red, white and blue which has a completely different meaning for me. :)
