2 More Finished Projects

I have 2 shawls to post this month.

The first is Saskia. I used 807 yards of JaggerSpun Maine Line in Teal, and knit 13 repeats of the pattern. The finished size is 68” x 22”.

The second is Pieceful Creations Sampler Stole. I used 840 yards of Halcyon Yarn Satin Bamboo in Copen Supreme. The finished size is 59" x 20". I added a repeat of the diamond pattern at the end before the ending pattern.

February Finished Project

I finished a project for February and started 2 more.

The finished shawl is Renee Leverington's Winter Mystery Shawl 09 . I used JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 2/18 in Lady Slipper with 8/0 Light Amethyst Silver Lined #522 from Bead Wrangler (although the beads are too small to see in the photos). The shawl is gorgeous and I look forward to wearing it.

The 2 new projects are Multnomah, which I am making with Rowan Tapestry in Whirlpool and Pieceful Creations Sampler Lace Stole, for which I am using Halcyon Yarn Satin Bamboo in Copen Supreme.

My Saskia shawl continues to grow, although I don't have any new photos.

Thank you very much for the Panda Silk yarn.I love the color (a beautiful gray/blue) and can't wait to find just the right pattern for it.

Progress!

As usual, I have been so busy knitting that I haven't had time to take or post photos, so I'll try to catch up here.

I started the February Lady Sweater for my daughter.

The MMario Mystery is a fascinating pattern, and the photo is clues 1 & 2.

On the Monkey Socks, I have knit the leg on one sock and the leg and heel on the other.

I've knit through Clue 2 of the Panama Shawl.

I didn't like the way that the Saskia was working up so I frogged it and started again using JaggerSpun Maine Line. I am much happier with it now.

Finally, I have finished the first 4 clues of the Winter Mystery Shawl. It's really hard to photograph because the cable isn't long enough to stretch it out, but I think it is going to be beautiful when it is finished.

12 months/12 projects/12 balls of yarn KAL

I have been very busy casting on new projects. Nothing like a lot of UFO's so there's always a choice of things to work on! After knitting for 2 days, I took off a few minutes before the sun went down to take some photos.

Panama Shawl (Misti Alpaca Lace), Monkey Socks (Knit Picks Stroll Multi), MMario Mystery Shawl (Knitivity Down Home Sock Yarn), Saskia Shawl (Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Solids), and Winter Mystery Shawl 09 (JaggerSpun Zephyr).

I'm having a ball!!

12 months/12 projects/12 balls of yarn KAL

Wow! I had a very busy day yesterday. I started a pair of Monkey Socks that I have wanted to make for a while. I am using KnitPicks Stroll an I love the way that it is working up (although I haven't gotten much farther than the cuff). I also started and knit the first clue in the MMario Mystery Shawl 2010. I didn't get much farther than the cast on and first few rows of the Panama Shawl and the Winter Mystery Shawl 2010 before I started falling asleep over my needles. I will post photos as soon as I can (hopefully later today).
