Santa's ELF Hat for Mary - FINISHED

So this is Mary's ELF hat. The colors look a lot better in "real life" plus it is really longer than the photo looks too. I used about 325 yards of Bernat's Softee Chunky, knitting on size 10 needles. So, if you want to know the story behind the ELF hat, you can read about it here. For those of you who don't like going from link to link, the basic premise is that you knit a hat, put an Santa's ELF label in it and toss the hat outside on Christmas so that your little ones can find a hat dropped by one of Santa's helpers!
.
Dave Daniels did the labels in honor of his Aunt Linda who recently died. She provided him with this childhood memory and he wanted to honor her by spreading the tradition.
.
I made two hats. One for my seven year old son, Zachariah, and one for my six year old niece, Mary. I had Zachariah's done before the Carefree KAL started. But the pics are of Mary's hat and the label as provided by Dave.
