Tour de France KAL Grandma07

I have cast on :) The pattern is Cookie A.'s Eunice and the yarn is Tempted Glam Grrl in Secret Garden. It is actually greener than this in real life. I will say that this pattern is really making me think! It is not a sock that can be knit while watching TV or chatting...luckily the yarn holds up quite well to tinking :P

Oooh, great pattern! Is that one from her new book?? I finally got the book, but have not yet tried knitting a pattern from it. I hope to soon!

Beautiful looking sock! LOL about the yarn holding up to tinking. If YOU have to tink this pattern, I think I will have to wait a lot longer to give this one a try. :)

Thanks :) Yes, the pattern is from Cookie's Sock Innovation book...it is the second one in the book. I don't know if it's good or bad, but I'm too stubborn to let this pattern get the better of me. Of course that means that this sock has been on time-out quite a bit, but as I get more done on the foot we seem to have come to an understanding :) Oh my goodness peacockmom, with all the wonderful things you have knit, I KNOW you can do this pattern :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence and encouragement. I'm grinning ear to ear now. Just the boost I need after a frustrating day of knitting miserable ruffles on infant girl socks. Project will be posted eventually. I'm going to try another pair of socks and crochet the ruffle (somehow will figure something out) instead of going from 36 sts to 144 by knitting in front and back of each stitch. Sure makes for tight sts on the needles! The crochet hook is calling to me for the future ruffles.
