aren't you lucky cpy cleaned out closet drawing!

susan has cleaned out the closets at the cpy warehouse and found some unlabeled lab dips. there is nothing wrong with the yarn. they just don't have the official labels. she has 8 packages of 2-3 skeins already packed and ready to go to some lucky people.

leave me a comment and tell me something. i will draw winners on tuesday, december 21st. how much easier can it get? you must be a member of the carefree kal blog.

ps. there is one package of panda cotton, so please let me know if you don't want a wool blend.

eta: extending deadline to december 31st.

Tell you something? Hm. Let's see. I have 2 scarves, a pair of fingerless gloves, and various little toys to make for Christmas. And I don't know if it's all gonna get done, yay! But at least I'll have my yardage for December. :)

Okay. Here's something. I have finished all of my Christmas knitting and now I'm bored with the yarn I have. I need some new inspiration. (And yarn)!

Adrienne - I just sent you an email to join the blog. I'm not sure why I didn't do it sooner!

I've just finished all my Christmas knitting somethings, my stash bin has been emptied of lots of somethings...and I feel so darned pleased with myself that I do believe that I need new somethings to knit and play with!

HI Adrienne,
I've just taken a break from 12/12/12 entry for December which I'm madly trying to finish in time to see your note about more yarn. :) AND am green with envy about jardinrouge's time having finished her knitting already. YIKES! How do I do this to myself?! And all I can think of is the next batch of patterns I'm longing to cast on and be knitting NOW...sigh......

Another thing...moving sucks! :)

Oh me, oh my,
more yarn for me?
yeah, yeah, yeah
if it's for free.

I am hoplessly behind and want to be behinder?
I have a cowl, a hat and a pair of socks for nathan to do. (And your blingie Black Ties socks to finish!) I can give you a mirror ball if I win!

I just envy all of you fast knitters and their stash! You ladies amaze me.

WOW!

May the lucky ones work up some nice items out of these yarns for sure! (Oh... why do I feel karma-less?)

Everyone have a blessed Christmas time!

Okay Adrienne - I've joined the blog and want to tell you that I have two pairs of Dr. Laura's Silk Road Journeys on the needles - one in Berry Compote, the other in Bodega Bay. Must hurry for Christmas presents.

I'm thinking Susan ROCKS! Cleaning closets in December? Impressive. Now, something to tell you, Adrienne. Hummmmm, it's above freezing here! That is noteworthy! ;) Have a good one.

I'm not sure what to tell you, except that I've been so busy at work I feel lucky when I have time to knit.

Here is my something: I have been Christmas shopping with my Mom all day today and I realized that I hate shopping with my Mom! She is a browser rather than a "have a list and know what I am getting so I can get out fast" kind of shopper. Shopping with the hubby is a much more pleasant experience...but I know that I will end up shopping with her again next year and complain about it all over again cuz she is my Mom. :)

Hmmm.. since I can't find CPY around here, I am always happy to try something new. I'm sure there would be some potential socks/gloves or mittens that would love some CPY!

Surprise yarn is the best! And one can never have enough CPY yarn!!! It's my favorite!! :-)

I really like Crystal Palace yarns and I used the Chunki Mochi in a really cool felted purse I made.

Would love to win some yarn. Thanks.

I would love to win. I already entered. I found out today I have an emergency colonoscopy and drink the ucky stuff on the day you pick a winner. So please pray for me.
But, I will look skinnier at Christmas!

I entered already too but I wanted to note that I got done the gloves, yay! And one of the toys. A third scarf which will be posted up for the 12/12/12 kal was done before I posted the first time, so that will go up, too. And I think also a hat. I forget when I finished the hat - will have to see if I used it in November or not. =D

OK, I'm signed up and ready to participate!
I'm running out of CPY stash, so of course, I really need to win!

I've been a fan of CP yarns for years, they're just not easily accessible for me, but I'm so glad I found this KAL blog! I can't wait to see all the projects. It's going to be a ball.

In the midst of getting my knitting mojo back, I would love to win some more yarn! I do love the CP yarns,

Free Crystal Palace yarn would make a nice addition to my stash :)

Christmas knitting was finished early this year, and I didn't add any last minute gifts.

I already have ideas for next year though.

Matching fresh ideas and fresh yarns is a fine way to start 2011 with.

We would love the Panda cotton. I say "we" because it would be used for (long) socks for my husband, and I would get to try Panda cotton. Since he has determined that he does like my socks if 1.) they are long and 2.)they are not wool, I need to fill up his drawer again. I've inherited all his wool ones, which works since mine no longer fit since foot surgery. Guess my mom will get some more socks (mine that do not fit). LOL - she steals any I wear back for a visit anyway.
Thanks, aj

"something" hmmmm

I just finished a long stint of year end bookkeeping and need a reward. I was thinking chocolate but yarn would be even better!
