52 week kal february object update

This is my finished object for February. It is from Wool/Silk/Alpaca and I used 3.5 skeins à 125m, which will be around 400m or about 440yards. I jumped in for someone who went ill but wanted to stay within a swap. Never thought such a thing works, but it was tested on a blue tea pot, as you can see, and I might forget about our teapot warmer. Tea stayed hot for longer time than needed. Perhaps will knit another one, for us.

This is a great looking cozy. Did you create the pattern? I'd love to make one since we have so many tea drinkers visit us here. It looks terrific. "Good on 'ya" as they say down under. :)

Seems we like the same things :-). It is a free pattern I found on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/grannies-traditional-tea-cosy

I like this old world tradition of a Tea Pot Cosy, it looks really nice on the pot. I will now have to go check out the pattern on Ravelry.

Thanks, Maz. I'll use some of my Magic Merino that I've dyed and play with the colors. I'm so glad you made this and told us about the pattern. Camera repair estimated for late March. I'll post the start of the cozy. And yes, we certainly do like a lot of the same things. :)

This is so neat! Love the color :) Kinda makes me wish I had a teapot just so I could display it with a cozy.
