Mitts for Chris and Fred

Green Thumb by Diana Foss using Bendigo Luxury DK 100% wool for this pair of mitts. Chris has had trouble with cold hands (but has a very warm heart) :). I took a break from sock knitting to make these for him and am happy to say he likes them. The H is for his surname. When Fred saw them, he knew he wanted a pair for flying this winter so I started them before the Olympic KAL and before getting back to the socks for February.

This is an easy pattern that is interesting enough to avoid boredom and fits many size hands comfortably. These won't count for anything other than to share with friends who love to knit. :) The 2 days and nights I knitted were enjoyable and I was inspired thinking of Debi knitting a pair of socks in half that amount of time. Amazing!

So glad you like them. I found the pattern on rav last year. Easy to find in their search if you type in Diana Foss. I noticed the Green Thumb pattern is on top of the resulting list. I looked at the project page and some nice ones with variations. Noticed others did theirs in 2 days also. Enjoy!
