Julys Project is Done

Just got back from SS11 and had a great time. The bad thing is my suitcase got off the train in Everett and I live in Sumas. My yarn was all packed there. So now I have to wait. But on with my knitting: For SS11 I knit a pair of thigh high socks and I won't be doing that again very soon. I started these sock 3 times on 3 different yarns. I finally decided to use Hazel Knits Shanny Pants, Home Team Football and Cascade Superwash. I finished the foot the first week of July and then decided that I would have to power through these if I was to get them done in time to wear. They then became my main knitting and finished them in two weeks. I hate ribbing there is 11 inches of ribbing on these and I don't think that I want to do that again. Not for a long time but at least I can say that they are done.

I have been working on the wedding veil and am down to the last 12 rounds and have 20 days to finish it and get it blocked. nothing like getting things done at the last minute. It will get done on time.

Your wedding veil looks stunning so far, and I can't wait to see it when it is finished! What pattern is it?
