Prime Time 2011 - Jan

This is my blue cardigan. It was finished by Friday. Back from the weekend, I made a quick pic to post the finished cardigan. It is very warm and I will be happy if I find some yarn to fix the buttons once more with a second small button on the inside. Then maybe a better pic will follow.

PrimeTime 2011 Jan

Back is done, fronts are done, this is the first sleeve and yet another to be done. It is Jan 24, so hopefully the end of my PrimeTime will not be at the first possible stage. You all could know by now something about my size, a blend of some X and one L. We must not argue if I had 300yds/m to do this cardigan, but as in every year I went through my wardrobe and had to admit some spaces left for sensible garments. IF this reaches the "finished" tag for the PrimeTime 2011 KAL, the project coming for February will definitely be in a smaller range. A woman´s got to do what a woman´s got to do.

January 12/12

hi, here is the scarf I did for January. But, it is lost in one of the kid's rooms. They snaked it from me because it is so soft. I hope you all are having a great New Year so far. Been really busy with Darin out of state. Yeah for the Olympics!

More January Progress

My Motley Jester socks are looking good. It's hard to know how they'll look when you are using leftovers. I did run short of grey yarn on the toes, so I will probably wear then with shoes that cover the toes. The final picture will show all the colors on the legs.

Green scarf grow slowly. I'm knitting other things.

I've started a pair of gloves for my youngest daughter. This is the last of Christmas 2009. We were supposed to see her in January, but she says its too cold and snowy here. She'll come home this summer.

Dishcloth or washcloth. This is one of the first, done with some Peaches and Creme cotton from my stash. The cats have eaten all the labels, so I have no idea what the color code is. Excuse the blue thread; it is part of the provisional cast on. No needle gauge - the cats hid all the needles also, so I grabbed chopsticks. Anyone want some cats, cheap?

So far, there are five of them (cloths, not cats) and I am casting on for the sixth. That will about do it - now all I have to do is find someone with a kitchen or bath in green or yellow and gift them with these. Sigh. Got to quit buying grab bags - I use up all my favorite colors and end up with a lot of less favorite colors. That's okay, February will be socks in a gorgeous color.
