MLJ 1954 12m/12p/12boy - baby layette set

I made this baby set for my nephew and his wife.  I used Bernat Baby Jacquard in Spearmint Candy.  The skein has 346 yards and I ended up with just a tiny little bit, I thought I would be able to make two sets of booties but there wasn't enough left over.  Besides these booties and sweater, I also made a cap.  Unfortunately, I was in the hospital and forgot to take a picture of the cap before my darling hubby gift wrapped everything.  Hopefully, I will get a pic of the baby encased in these lovelies . . . she is going to be arriving on February 18.

This is really lovely yarn.  It is nice to work with and is totally washable.  The sweater is supposed to take five hours but it took substantially longer.  I also made it about three inches longer than the pattern called for.  I also used a yellow bernat baby yarn for the yoke, cuffs and bottom of the sweater (I was concerned about running out of yarn).
